Certification
In cooperation with the standardization organizations in Canada, to establish accurate and scientific standards based on field measurements to certify the renewable energy (RE) conversion equipment, such as wind generators, geothermal equipment, maremotor converters, solar equipments and biomass energy conversion equipment.
The CICRRE will have the task of inspecting and evaluating the RE equipment and their installation quality, to make recommendations to the consumers, installers and manufacturers. The Institut will give out yield certificates after installation of the RE equipment.

We encourage Canadian companies to acquire the “CICRRE” certification. This symbol, affixed on the company letters, will be proof of the quality of the RE material and installation. Our inspectors will assure that members of the CICRRE respect accurate technical standards. |

Equipment (wind generators, geothermal pumps…) bearing the CICRRE seal will be proof of yield, reliability and durability. |

The (R-CICRRE) yield standard is a unit of measure easy to understand for the consumer. The quotation is a direct result of the yield measurements performed by our inspectors, with laboratory calibrated standards and the results obtained on the installation site. |
It is important to note that the CICRRE certification is only a measurement of the real performances done in the field, of the RE equipment. All elements used must first be certified according to the strict CSA, ACNOR or other accepted standards.
